Ron was a member of Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines Aug. 68 - Aug. 69. During Ron's tour Alpha Company had Headquarters on Hill 10, Hill 55 and Hill 37 respectively

Aerial view of Hill 37, Dai Loc, Quang Nam Province, RVN Spring 1969 . Hill 37 was the location of the Battalion Headquarters of the 1st Battalion 7th Marines at the time this photo was taken.
