Missed it by that much !! B-52 and crew stuck in the river waiting for assistance. Any tankers who spent time in Vietnam found themselves in a similar position at least once or twice... It was the nature of the "Iron Beast". |

Bravo-52 after hitting a very large Land Mine near Hill 52. Many people think that Tankers were relatively safe, this picture shows that was not always the case. Land Mines and RPG's did take there toll. |
