The Marine on the right is Donald C. May

The Marine on the left is identified only as Johnny

The picture was taken in Okinawa in '72

Maybe you can help me. My Dad was a tanker in Vietnam, and I am trying
to locate anyone who may have known him. His name is Donald C. May and he is
from Buffalo, NY. Sadly he passed away some years ago and didn't talk much
about his time overseas. I'm not sure who he was with, where he was or who
he served with. I have been in touch with John Wear and he is trying to
help thru the MCTA. I saw one of your photos of 3rd Plt., B Co. 1st Tanks, and
thought that one of the unknowns resembled my Dad, but I couldn't be sure.

If you have any thing that could help you can contact me at:

tanker@marinecorps.com or maydc@2mardiv.usmc.mil

Thanks,

SSgt May
